The Wallingford Brain Injury Support Group sponsors a personal futures planning class that meets every two weeks for 14 – 16 two-hour sessions. The class is focused on helping participants move towards their professional and work goals and creating the most fulfilling possible life while living with a brain injury.
The group uses a co-coaching model for accountability. Group members set goals and share them with each other, work on the goals for a month, and then meet again to discuss their successes and challenges. Working with a group of peers helps TBI survivors move accomplish their goals.
